Culminating in a showpiece final at Lord's, The Watsons Village Cup is the only competition that offers amateur sportsmen and women the opportunity to play out their dreams on such hallowed turf. The final two teams will also be given the same treatment as the England team when they play at Lord’s including the same accommodation and hospitality on the day.

The Watsons Village Cup

The Watsons Village Cup is inextricably linked with the English summer and has been ever since its conception in 1972. Administered by The Cricketer, this summer-long knockout tournament celebrates the grassroots game at its rural heart.

It is the biggest amateur cricket competition in the world and sees in excess of 300 clubs from all corners of the British Isles battle for the chance to ‘live the dream’ by playing on the hallowed turf in a showcase Lord’s final.
